Luftwaffe Blue "Channel" Winter Flight Jacket

Luftwaffe dark blue flight jacket. Constructed of a dark blue cotton blend, it features a turned-down collar lined on the obverse with purple/blue wool, with two leather straps emanating from the reverse of the left meeting a loop and snap buttons on the left for secure closure. Each cuff has a functional zipper fastening closed with an integral snap button for an adjustable fit. Dual side pockets are set into the lower halves of each breast, both closed with a strap inset with a functional snap button. The interior is fully lined with a purple/blue, liner, providing excellent insulation from frigid conditions while in high altituden flight. A hidden channel set into the waistband features a strap which emanates from both sides and fits through a metal buckle. A white cotton label with former manufacturer information.

The jacket shows light signs of age and wear. No rips or holes, only one mending located to the backside of one sleeve. All zipper’s are fully functional and all leather straps and buttons are complete and in place.

Complete jacket in good used condition, with the unmistakable “been there” look!!
