Luftwaffe Flak Artillery Rgt 7 Obergefreiter's Tuchrock

795.00

Tunic is in the standard configuration for a Luftwaffe Tuchrock, open collar, with four button front closure, four pleated patch pockets and turn back cuffs. Sew-in shoulder board with red wool piping and chain stitched embroidery “7”. The lower collar edge is piped in red colored twisted cord. To the collar is red wool collar tabs with one alloy metal “seagull” pinned in place. The collar tabs are machine sewn in place. Above the right breast pocket is a 2’nd pattern machine sewn in place, through the lining. The eagle is in our opinion added after the war. To the upper left sleeve is a luftwaffe obergefreiter rank chevron neatly hand sewn in place. Further down the same sleeve is a very nice rangefinder speciality badge with golden cord for 1 year service, neatly hand sewn in place. Above the left breast pocket is a two place ribbon bar (east front medal and KvK 2’class) pinned in place. Inside is lined with grey colored brushed cotton. The lining is stamped LBA 39 and also size stamped, all in black ink.

The tunic is in good condition with light signs of age and use. There is a couple of professional, later made mendings, see pictures. The breast eagle is also later replaced in our opinion. All other insignias appear to be war time applied.

The tunic looks great on display and is priced according to condition!!
