Luftwaffe Flight/Paratrooper's Oberfeldwebels Tunic And Trousers

High quality, private purchase 1935 pattern “Tuckrock”. Luftwaffe blue/grey wool tricot construction tunic. Four button front closure with small fold back lapels and a lay down collar. The tunic has four pleated front pockets with straight edged button down flaps. The right breast has a machine embroidered second pattern Luftwaffe eagle in silvery/grey cotton threads on a cut-out Luftwaffe blue/grey wool base. The eagle is neatly handstitched to the tunic. Sleeves have deep French cuffs. The reverse of the tunic has a short tail skirt. The tunic has sewn on shoulder straps in Luftwaffe blue/grey wool with bright silver/aluminum NCO’s tress and yellow wool waffenfarbe piping with two rank pip’s. The forward edge of the lay down collar has bright silver/aluminum NCO’s tress and is piped in yellow cording. The collar has yellow wool collar tabs with four rank “gulls” to each. Original award loops for one badge. The tunic comes with a three place ribbon bar which is pinned in place. The interior of the tunic is fully lined in grey rayon and striped thin brushed cotton in sleeves. The lining has a slash pocket to the left breast panel. The tunic shows light signs of real use, out side has a couple of minor stains. Inside with spots of stains from sweat.

 

The tunic comes with a pair of trousers made of Luftwaffe blue/grey tricot cloth. Straight leg construction with two slash front pockets without pocket flaps. Four button french fly with a dual hook and catch closure to the waist line. One rear pocket with pocket flap. Inside is lined with several different types of lining. The trousers is in good used condition. There is a couple of minor mendings, a couple of buttons are replaced, light color fading and some light stains from use and age. The trousers match the tunic perfectly in condition and was for sure used with the tunic during the war.
