Luftwaffe M40 SD WWI "Mimicry" Style Camouflage Combat Helmet

The M40 helmet retains about 85 +% of its slightly rough textured camouflage over-paint primarily in light green and tan colors painted in a WWI mimicry pattern. The left side of the helmet has a Luftwaffe eagle which remains till 95 + % which is uncommon. The eagle decal is very nicely age toned which match the rest of the helmet perfectly. 

All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has it’s original Luftwaffe blue-grey paint  and the original liner with all eight of it’s original fingers and the liner tie string is still intact and it has a drawstring present as well. The liner is dry but still fairly supple..The helmet is stamped Q66  and “T14c1” at the rear skirt. A small part of the original chinstrap is also present
