Luftwaffe NCO / Officer Candidate Side Cap

High quality private purchase, Luftwaffe blue fine trciot cloth body with white rayon lining. To the front there is an Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s national eagle, neatly hand sewn in place. On front of fold-down is a Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s cockade which also is hand sewn in place. Officers silver litz all arround side flaps. Inside with removed sweatband. Size marked “59” in blue ink. Also initials “NJ” nicely hand written in monogram.

Cap is in well used condition and show colour fading to exposed parts as well as chafe wear. Inside cap shows wear with fading of lining colour, dirt and sweat stains. Sweatband was removed. Left side has a couple of smaller holes, see pictures! Insignias match perfectly to the cap and was war time applied.

Really hard to find a private purchase NCO/Officer candidates cap, the cap is also in a good size!!
