The pilot badge was instituted on August 12th,1935 by order of Reichsmarchall Hermann Göring.
Luftwaffe pilot badge. Two piece construction with intact rivets visable to the reverse. Produced in alloy metal with most of the original paint wash intact to the eagle. Original hinge and pin still intact, catch replaced. The badge has a very nice age patina all over.
Great relatively cheap option to display on a flight tunic or just display as it is!!
