Netherlands NSB Female Membership Badge

Constructed of gilt bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc overlaid by a multi-coloured Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in Nederland (National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands/NSB) insignia, surrounded by a red enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of “DIENEN EN VOLHARDEN” (“SERVE AND PERSEVERE”), joined together at the bottom by a Wolfsangel rune, the reverse with a pinback device and raised inscription of “STAMBOEK NO.” for the addition of an engraved membership number, measuring 23 mm in diameter. The badge shows signs of age and use with minor flecking and age toning.
