RAD Officer's M43 Field Cap 

Constructed out of a brown wool. It features turned up side and back ear flaps which slope gently downwards to the front sides, held together at the front-center with two silver painted aluminum pebbled buttons. The top edge of the main body is edged with officers silver/aluminum piping. Above the buttons, the front-center has a hand embroidered (silver bullion with red and black rayon) officer’s RAD insignia. The insignia is neatly hand-stitched in place. The cap has a extended visor peak with an internal stiffener. The interior is completely lined in grey/brown rayon. Also inside with full red-brown oil-cloth sweatband. Inside is size stamped “55” in black ink. The cap shows signs of age and real use. No holes, rips or mendings.

Pretty scarce RAD officer’s M43 field cap in a very nice used condition!!
