U.S WWII Waterproof Rifle or Carbine Cover, Dated August 1943

These were used on D-day and other amphibious operations to keep water and sand out of the troops’ weapons during landings. This bag will fit M1 Garands, M-1 Carbines, Springfields, B.A.R.s, and possibly.30 cal MG’s.

In close to mint condition, clearly maker marked stamped and manufacturing date: August 27, 1943.
