US WWII M42 Canteen and Cover Produced 1943

A one quart capacity canteen and canvas cover. The natural aluminum canteen retains its screw cap with short metal chain. The front of the canteen is maker marked “J.W Johnson CO 1943”. The inserted natural aluminum canteen is in very good condition and is also year and maker marked.
