Waffen-SS Belt & Buckle Marked RZM 155/40 SS

Waffen-SS EM/NCO’s Belt & Buckle. Steel construction box belt buckle. The buckle features a smooth background with a high relief, embossed SS style national eagle surrounded by the script “Meine Ehre heißt Treue!”. On the reverse, the buckle is maker marked with “RZM 155/40 SS”, indicating production by the company of “Assmann” located in Lüdenscheid. The buckle is in good, used condition with about 90% of the original silver finish still intact. The belt buckle originally brought home from Denmark / Köpenhamn just after the end of WWII by the sellers uncle!
