Waffen-SS Officer's Early M36 Field Tunic

Tailor made M36 tunic, field-grey wool construction with six button front closure and dual metal hook’s and eye’s at the neckline. The tunic has pleated patch, chest pockets with scalloped edged button down flaps and hip pockets, one at each side with scalloped edged button down flaps and not visable pocket bags as is correct for a early m36 tunic. The tunic has also two metal belt suport hooks to the back, also correct for early m36 tunics. The collar shows old stitch holes and threads from Waffen-SS runic and rank insignias. The left sleeve shows a clear shadow from a Waffen-SS sleeve eagle. Shoulders with removed shoulder boards, shoulder board buttons still intact. To the second button hole is a Iron Cross Second Class ribbon sewn in place. To the left chest is loops sewn for one award and above the same pocket is loops sewn for a longer ribbon bar.

The interior of the field blouse is lined in grey rayon cloth and pyjama striped lining in sleeves. The field blouse shows nap wear, age and usage toning through-out. Inside with clear sweat stains. No rips, mendings or larger stains.
