Waffen-SS EM/NCO's Visor Cap

Issue type, field-grey wool construction, visor cap. Black wool centerband and white trimmed wool piping to the top of the crown edge and both the top and bottom edges of the centerband. Pinned in place to the front is a SS eagle constructed of Zinc with a silver paint wash. About 50% of the silver paint is still intact. There is a clear ghost mark to the black center band from a removed SS skull insignia. Original leather chin strap still in place. The cap has a black lacquered, vulcanfibre visor and an brown/orange bottom with a repeating cross-hatched pattern. The interior of the cap is fully lined orange/brown oil cloth and orange brown fine cotton cloth. Sweat diamond is all intact. The interior of the cap also has a light brown leather sweatband which is all complete.Roughly a size 56. The cap is in very good, still used condition. No holes, rips, mendings or larger stains.
