Waffen-SS Pea Dot Pattern Autumn/Winter Reversible Hood

Waffen-SS later war (1944-1945) “Erbsenmuster”. Pea pattern camouflage reversible winter uniform parka hood, which would be worn over the head when the helmet was not required. This hoods were produced in various camouflage and solid color exteriors and were made to match the various German Army winter parkas, trousers and hood garments. The hood features closure ties. It also have earholes which only have the insulation present, not the exterior shell, for better hear that did not leave the ears entirely unprotected. Inside is marked “55” which is the size and “9” which is most likely a factory code.  Condition is very good, with minor signs of age.
