Wound Badge in Black 1939, "32" and Award Document

Complete set with award document dated 7 August 1944. Awarded to Hauptfeldwebel Leopold Seywald, serving in 4./Eisb Bau-Btl 139. Document is signed by the Btl leader, a Captain. In very good conditon with minor signs of age with two binder holes. The document comes with the actuall wound badge. The badge is constructed of ferrous metal with a black paint wash. Maker marked to the reverse in high relief: “32” for “Wilhelm Hobacher” (a rare maker to find!). The badge is complete with hinge, pin and catch. The badge shows signs of age and real use, most of the original black paint is still intact and the badge shows some light surface rust.
