Wound Badge in Black 1939, Maker Marked L/11

The badhe is constructed of die struck ferrous metal. Black grade, awarded for 1 or 2 wounds in wartime. Most of the original black paint finish is still present on the front and back. The reverse has its original hardware setup, fully intact and functional. The badge is maker marked “L/11” to the reverse for “Willhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid”. The badge is in good condition with light signs of age and use.
