WWII Japanese Army Officer's "Old Style" Visor Cap in Very Good Condition

295.00

The cap is made of rough wool dyed in wartime dark green color, though the material of the cap exhibits late war low quality, its shape is reminiscent of the visor hat around the early twentieth century, when army officers commonly wore low-shaped, modest-looking visor hats. This cap is in beautiful little used condition and it almost looks like the owner did not have the chance to wear it. Unfortunately, we
are not able to know the owner’s name because the name tag on the lining is blacked out. Veteran families often do not want the name of the soldier known when they part with the veteran’s belongings. In every way, the hat is clean and pristine. No moth holes at all. just some light moth tracking. The visor has minor superficial damage on the black lacquer finish. Despite the shortcoming, the cap is definitely one of the finest on the market.
