Karl Willhelm Lehmann served in a Heer infantry 188 and was a brave Oberfeldwebel. He was awarded The Iron Cross 1’st and 2’nd class, the wound badge, East front medal and Infantry Assault badge. Lehmann was killed in action at the age of 28, 8th of August 1942 while serving in Russia.
The grouping consists of following items: Karl’s dog tah numbered 1009, blood group AB. Marked 2./ I.E.B 188 (for infantry ersatz btl 188). The dog tag is complete with light signs of age. Karl’s death card with the above mentioned information. A singel shoulder strap with the rank of oberfeldwebel serving in a infantry unit. And a tunic removed EM/NCO’s breast eagle with clear signs of age and use.
