Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery War Badge

The Coastal Artillery War Badge was introduced on June 24th 1941 by Oberbefehlshaber der Kriegsmarine und Großadmiral Erich Raeder for award to land based Naval coastal artillery and anti-aircraft personnel in recognition of their achievements.

Mid – late war example produced of die struck zinc with about 80% of the original gilt, silver / grey finish still intact. Reverse with intact hinge, pin and catch. The badge is in good condition with some signs of age and wear.

Perfect example to display on a mildly used coastal artillery tunic!!
