4/MG Infantry Ers Betl 398 Dog Tag

German dog tag (Erkennungsmarke), constructed of aluminium metal. Two identical parts ment to be broken to the middle with one part following the body and the other to the unit for report of the death. “The dog tag is clearly marked “4/MG. Inf Ers.Batl. 398” and identifation number marked “5706”, blood group “A”. The dog tag is iin very good condition with light signs of age.
