Artillerie-Regiment 195 Commemorative Plate, by Meissen

Constructed of glazed white porcelain, the obverse bearing a central blue underglaze inscription of “Art. Regt. 195”, topped by a 1939 Iron Cross, and situated within a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a regimental emblem and at the top by a date of “1939”, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Meissen Porcelain and a stamped design code of “N117”, perforated with two holes which retain a period original metal suspension loop, measuring 25.5 cm in diameter. In very good condition with minor signs of age and use.

A superb example demonstrating Meissen’s noted quality, in extremely fine condition!!
