Hans Schweitzer (25 July 1901 – 1980) known as Mjölnir, was a graphic artist who produced many posters for the Nazi Party under Adolf Hitler. He draw hundreds of Nazi images, for the NSDAP election poster campaigns in the 1920s/1930’s he created a number of famous posters which are often reproduced in propaganda books today, through to Hitler’s assumption of power, then for various Party organizations, pamphlets, handbills, and during the war those with military themes.
Large war time poster wich meassures 120cm x 82cm. Large motto “wir haben allle nur einen willen, sieg um jeden preis!” which translates to: “we all only have one will, victory at any cost!”. The poster has still clear colors but has heavy folds with partly broken paper. This poster has to be handled with care in the future to avoid a complete break. Best option is to frame it. Anyway, the poster displays great with as said still strong colors. The reverse is stamped “eingeganged 27 apr 1942”. Which freely translates to: “was delivered or received 27 April 1942”.
