1933 Gau Tag Ost Hannover Badge

The Badge was instituted in 1933, and was conferred upon individuals in Gau East Hannover.

Constructed of die struck alloy metal with a silver finish. The obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a plaque featuring a raised Saxon horse situated above a date of “1933”, surrounding a central raised mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “GAUTAG OSTHANNOVER IM JAHRE DER NATIONLASOZIAL. ERHEBUNG” the reverse with a original fastening device. Reverse is also nicely maker marked in high relief.
