Heer Artiller Officer's Visor Cap, Stab Unit Marked

Early or even pre-war produced officer’s visor cap, constructed of field-grey doeskin cloth with trimmed red wool piping. Pinned in place to the front is a nickel silver national eagle and wreath/cockade. Also in front and buttoned in place to the sides is as a officer´s heavy chincord.

 

Inside cap is lined with golden yellow rayon. Cap still have it´s original sweat shield still intact. The cap is marked “Beste Qualität” and Gustav Bremer’s logo type. Brown leather sweatband is all intact. When folding the sweatband up, we find a very interesting stamp it reads: “Gepruft (accepted) St.II AR 31”. Clean exterior with a couple of moth bites. Inside shows some stains from use.
