Heer Artillery Leutnant's Light Weight Field Tunic 

M36 style, light weight, subtly ribbed, tan cotton construction summer/tropical field tunic. The tunic has a five button front closure, a bottle green collar two metal hook’s and eye’s positioned at the forward neckline. The tunic has two, pleated, patch, breast pockets and two, pleated hip pockets. All pockets with scalloped edged, button down flaps. The right breast has a NCO/Officer’s national eagle in bright silver/aluminum threads mounted on a cut-out dark green rayon base. The eagle is machine sewn to the tunic. The tunic has slip on shoulder straps with red wool base with dull grey silver/aluminum russian braid. Hand sewn to the collar is a pair of Artillery officer’s collar tabs. To the right chest is award loops sewn for two awards and above the pocket is loops sewn for a longer ribbon bar. Interior is partly lined in grey cotton. Inside neck with original München taylor label. The label shows heavy fraying.

The tunic shows signs of real use and is heavily sun faded. We added one extra photo to clearly show the fading. There is one tear located to the right elbow area. The tear is approx 5cm in length.

Un-touched as found tunic, which was bought locally by the former owner in Italy, Sicily over 20 years ago!!
