Heer/Waffen-SS M40 Combat Helmet, Named Q64

The stamped sheet steel construction helmet retains 95%+ of its dark, field-grey paint. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is complete with all leather liner fingers intact. Original size adjustment string is present. The former owner’s name “Gloser” is hand written to the lining. Left inside is marked “Q64”. 64 is the helmet size and Q stands for company Quist located in Esslingen. The reverse interior neck guard apron is serial number marked “T729”. Original chinstrap is also present. The helmet is in good, still used condition with most of the original dark grey finish still intact. Liner shows a nice dust and light rust build up that we like to see. Leather parts is overall good with some dry parts.
