Imperial Japanese Navy Aviator Lieutenant's Shoulder Boards 

A pair of stiffened, black wool shoulder boards featuring a golden tress stripe over blue flight stripe and three silver metal alloy “pips” in the shape of five petal cherry blossoms are sewn to the black wool background with a brass Naval button to one end. The reverse is covered with black leather that has a metal alloy slider attached. In very good condition with minor signs of age.
