Japanese Navy EM's Late-War Field Cap

325.00

An olive green canvas, cotton constructed field cap. Machine sewn to the front is a yellow-colored machine-woven anchor patch. A doubled canvas chin strap in the front is complete with its adjustment loops. A tie string is looped between
hand-sewn eyelets for size adjustment. As is often the case with this late-war type of Navy cotton cap, the quartermaster stamp is almost completely faded but based on close inspection of the details this cap is made in 1944 or 1945 and originating from either the First Clothing Depot or the Second Clothing Depot. Slight discoloration is observable, so it must be slightly worn but all in all the cap is very good condition Close to perfect. The size is about 56-57.

Rather scarce large cap in very good condition!!
