NSDAP Standard Bearer’s Gorget, Constructed by Frank & Reif

Constructed of a bronzed alloy metal. Two piece construction with a large German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika. Trimmed along all edges with raised oak leaves. The reverse retaining a dark green wool liner, with clips emanating from both corner to accommodate a removable neck chain. The chain consisting of 31 links, obverse of the links featuring alternating German national eagles and wreathed mobile swastikas,  reverse of the gorget is marked with Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logos and maker codes “M1/102” for Frank & Reif, Stuttgart. The chain is maker marked “RZM 1/14”. Both gorget and chain shows a very nice age patina and light signs of age and use.
