Panzer Assault Badge in Bronze, Unmarked Juncker
$513.35
The Panzer Assault Badge in silver was instituted by Generaloberst Walther von Brauchitsch on December 20th 1939 for award to all ranks of tank personnel who served as a tank commander, driver, gunner or radio operator and had been involved in three different armored assaults on three different days.
The badge is constructed of die struck Zinc with a bronze color wash. Reverse with intact, pin, soldered on hinge and catch. Unmarked to the reverse but it’s a classic “C.E. Juncker” production. Type 1.1.4 in the reference book: “The Panzer Assault Badge of WWII” by Philippe De Bock. The badge is in very good condition with most of the original bronze color still intact.
Rare bronze panzer assault badge, produced by Juncker!!
