U.S 8th Air Force Sergeant's B-14 Type Tunic With Air Crew Wings, Badges and Cap

Pretty scarece type B-14 tunic. Modelled after the British battledress jacket and styled like an “Ike-jacket”. Olive drab wool waist-length tunic is single-breasted with integral shoulder straps buttoned. Two collar dogs are present as well to each collar point, one being “U.S.” while the other represents the “USAAF”. On the right arm, stitched below the shoulder is the 8th USAAF shoulder flash in a top a Sergeant rank badge, which is also present to the left sleeve. The left cuff has a two year overseas bars. The makers tag is sewn inside the neck with the size of “40”. Pinned to the left chest is a period sterling silver air crew wing, three medal ribbon bar and a marksman 2’class gunners badge. The tunic comes with a service cap. Tunic is in good condition with light signs of age and use, there is a couple of pin-head sized moth holes.

Very nice and pretty scarce M-14 tunic, which comes complete with period sewn insignias and war time awards!!
