Japanese WWII Army Military Light Weight Field Cap

WWII Japanese army field cap. Summer / tropical light weight issue constructed of tan colored straw. To the front center is a Japanese army star in rayon machine sewn in place. Reverse with four grommets and a white colored tie string still in place. Sewn in place to both sides is the caps original chin strap, the chin strap shows signs of age, most likely due to poor storage. Inside with complete black pressed paper sweatband. The cap is in very good condition with minor signs of age.

This is a super collectible piece of WWII Memoribilia, a cap missing, even in many advanced collections!!
