Pioneer Tool Leather Pouch

Rare early-war engineers tool kit pouch, it was used to engineer units of the Heer, Waffen-SS and Luftwaffe ground troops, including paratroopers. This pouch carries several specific tools used for connections and trapping work. It is in very good condition, black “presstoff” construction. It is nicely maker marked: “dob”, dated “1941” and Waffenamt stamped. The original canvas carrying strap is present and functional. A “flag” is hand painted in red and white to the upper left corner, most likely a unit designation marking.

Very hard to find, especially in this condition!!
