US Army Airforce Pneumatic Anti-"G" Suit Type G3A Manufactured 1944-1945

This specific model of anti-G trousers (or G-suits) was developed and introduced at the end of World War II to protect fighter pilots (including those flying aircraft such as the P-51 Mustang and P-47 Thunderbolt) from blacking out due to high G-forces. The suit is complete with all buttons and zippers in place and fully functional. Army Airforce marked with a large white ink stamp. Inside with complete manufacturers label. Which reads. “Munsingwear, Inc.”: (The company listed as the manufacturer on the label was one of the subcontractors that produced these specialized suits for the military during the war years). In very good condition with minor signs of age.
