40-Year Long Faithful Service Medal

Constructed of gilded Tombak, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central black swastika, the reverse with a central inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE) with an oak leaf wreath. The cross comes complete with suspension ring and original blue colored ribbon. The ribbon has it’s pinback device still intact to the reverse. The cross is in very good, close to mint condition.
