Austro-Hungarian Artillery Officer's M1916 Field Cap 

Late war constreucted private purchase, WWI Austrian Model 1916 field cap. Constructed of field-grey wool with a leather visor. Pinned to the front is a late war “K” button for Kaiser ¨Karl 1″. Side panels to hold the pull-down side ear/neck” coverare buttoned in front with two metal buttons with a cannon in high relief, denoting service in the Artillery. Interior has a Brown leather sweatband and grey cotton lining. The lining has a fantastic maker label that reads: “Uniformsorten RUDOLF SKOUYAJAN WIEN VII Neubaugürtel 32”. The cap is in well used condition with clear signs of real use and age. Sweatband has a couple of tears, besides that no damage.
