Germany 1930's Bandsman "Glockenspiel" Player, by ELASTOLIN

Prewar, manufactured in the 1930’s “ELASTOLIN” toy soldier composition figure. The figure is the rare large size, 10cm tall including the base plate. This figures are constructed of a mix of saw dust and glue. All figures are carefully hand painted. A reason why the elastolin figures was world leading in this type of toy manufacturing!
This example is a desirable bansdman, the “glockenspiel” player. The figure is in relatively good condition with some lighter age cracks and light paint wear.
