Japanese WWII Army Officer's Visor Cap

The cap is made of olive drab wool which matches army officer’s late war uniforms (Type 3), so the cap is considered a mid to late war example. Both the main wool body and the red wool band is clean and moth tracking is very light and hardly seen. The brass army star on the front is securely fixed and no crackilation can be seen on the lacquered chinstrap and visor. However, there are light signs of wear on the interior, especially on the ersatz leather sweat band and the olive green rayon lining. The cap is in good condition and is a high quality tailor-made one.
