Japanese WWII Type 90 Army Combat Helmet

1,295.00

The standard WWII Japanese infantry combat helmet. The shell, constructed from steel retains 98% of its original paint. The original IJA metal star affixed to the front. Large-sized and dated 1939. It’s named and just slightly worn. The helmet only shows very light wear on the liner, which is composed of three leather pads, an inner cord, and a set of full-length chinstraps. Everything looks complete and firmly attached to the shell. There is also a small rust spot on the left front rim of the shell, but the orange color along the rim is not rust but an exposed red primer underneath the khaki paint.

An early-dated helmet in this beautiful condition is extremely rare. A one-of-a-kind superb example!!
