Kriegsmarine Dog Tag Produced 1944

German dog tag (Erkennungsmarke), constructed of alloy metal. Two identical parts ment to be broken to the middle with one part following the body and the other to the unit for report of the death. This dog tag shows the solider was a Kriegsmarine member with roll number 64827 and the dog tag was produced “44” for 1944. In good condition with light signs of age.
