Kriegsmarine EM/NCO's Shirt Collar Dickie, Named And Dated

The collar dickie consists of a rectangular, white cotton construction, breast and back panels with a fold back mid-blue “nankeen” collar. The back panel has a tie tape to each bottom corner and the breast panel has two, small, tie tape loops allowing the dickie it to be tied around the wearer’s body underneath his shirt with the fold back collar hanging over the exterior back of the shirt. The upper breast panel also has two tie tapes situated at the top edges of the “V” slash to secure the neckerchief to the dickie. A name label which read “Grigat” is hand sewn inside. Inside is also stamped “B.A.W. 88 43”. 43 is the year of manufacturing. In good condition with light signs of age and use.
