Kriegsmarine EM/NCO's Side Cap

475.00

The Kriegsmarine overseas cap was originally introduced on November 10th 1938. On October 7th 1939 the cap underwent minor modifications and became a regular issue item for wear by all personnel both on and off ship for the duration of the war.

1939 pattern cap, produced of blue wool with fold down side and back panels. The front center of the cap has a “Sailors cap” insignia pinned in place. A gilt washed, alloy, national eagle with out-stretched wings and a three piece national tri-color cockade. The insignia is pinned in place with it’s original stickpin. The interior of the cap is fully lined in black cotton. No holes, rips or mendings.

Nice to find with “sailor cap” insignia instead of the standard bevo type!!
