NSKK Traffic Education Service Gorget

Scarce NSKK gorget, made of stamped aluminum. The front features the distinctive NSKK organizational emblem above the wording “N.S.K.K. Verkerhrs-Erziehungdienst” indicating the NSKK Traffic Education Service. At the top of the gorget, the control number “44485” is made of separately applied alloy metal numerals, which retain all of their prongs. Original carrying chain is complete. The reverse of this NSKK Gorget has an aluminum hook to help hold it in place when worn on a uniform. This gorget shows signs of age and real use. About 95% of the black paint remains, backing cloth missing.
