P38 Hardshell Pistol Holster, Produced 1943

Smooth molded, blackened leather construction “hardshell” P38 pistol holster. The holster features a scalloped, fold over top flap with a stitched on leather closure strap. The obverse closure strap has a corresponding rivetted on sheet metal plate situated on the front of the fold over top flap with a raised steel bar on a sheet metal plate rivetted on the front body of the holster. The forward edge of the holster body has a extra magazine pocket. The reverse of the holster has two stitched on, leather belt loops. The interior of the holster has a quick release strap stitched to both the top flap and the internal body. Marked “P38” with a “CWW”, “1943” and a “WaA392” marking with the national eagle. The holster is in good used condition with light signs of age and use.
