Silvered Brass Plate Plate To Lt. Förster Serving in III./A.R. 109 From the Officer Korps
Plate made of brass with a Bright silver wash. An emblem is nicely etched to the top front of the plate in the form of a hammer hitting the ground (probably the units tactical symbol). The plate was a gift from the Officers korps to J. L Förster for the participation in the Polen war Campaign. The plate shows signs of age and has lost some of its silver finish but is still in good condition. The plate meassures 24 x 24 cm.
