Japanese Army Officer’s Type 3 Tunic in Mint Unworn Condition

Absolutely mint condition Army officer’s tunic from an old tailor’s un-sold stock. It’s a Type 3 tunic with
a set of Second Lieutenant’s collar tabs, a strip of machine-woven cloth tape and an embroidered gold-colored bullion star
patch on each sleeve, that are professionally period applied. (The thread that was used for construction of the tunic and the one used
for applying the insignia are identical.) All buttons are intact and the button holes are so tight that it is even hard to
button up the tunic front just because it was never sold and never worn. A sharp-looking, crispy mint tunic that is hard
to upgrade. Unfortunately, there is a small, less than a half centimeters moth hole in the back of the tunic near the lower sleeve
but it is just an indication of the tunic being more than 70 years old. Definitely, this is a wartime produced authentic tunic but in
super clean condition.
